Santa's Secret Village
Creating Santa's Home to be displayed by the Thames
I was commissioned to transform a large yurt into Santa's Home for the annual Christmas market along the River Thames in London. The goal was to create an immersive, hand-painted world where children and adults could step inside and instantly feel the warmth and wonder of Christmas.
Working entirely with spray paint on canvas, I illustrated both the exterior and interior of the yurt, bringing to life a full festive environment. The artwork included cheerful elves, playful penguins, a cosy fireplace decorated with stockings, Santa's sleigh and reindeers, snowy village scenes, and all the small magical details that make Christmas unforgettable.
Inside the yurt, the paintings created a storytelling backdrop for Santa's meet-and-greet experience, complete with twinkling decorations, and characters that made every visit feel like stepping into a Christmas storybook. Outside, the colourful illustrations guided families toward Santa's Secret Village, adding charm and excitement to the busy winter market by the river Thames.

This project was a joyful opportunity to blend creativity, character design, and large-scale spray-paint mural work to bring a magical festive world to life right in the heart of London.
