India Lil Indz Street Dance Graffiti Bedrooom and T-shirt Designs
A personalised graffiti mural celebrating movement, music, and self-expression.
This project was a very special commission where I transformed India\'s bedroom into a vibrant, street-dance-inspired graffiti world that reflected her energy and personality.
India was just eight years old at the time, full of energy, passion for street dancing, and a love for graffiti art.
From the very first message from her mum, it was clear that the vision was a dance-themed room, a character that looked like India as the main hero, and her name painted in a strong graffiti style across the walls.
Bringing creativity and colours into a child's personal space.
I created a full projection design to present to the family. This allowed them to clearly visualise how the three feature walls would work together, how the windows, bed, and door would integrate into the artwork, and how the colours and movement would flow around the room.
Lil Indz - Street Dance T-Shirt Illustration
A couple of years after painting India's bedroom, her journey into street dance had grown even stronger. Now performing under the name Lil Indz and dancing as part of the IMD Legion crew, she needed a bold visual identity for promotional merchandise.
I was commissioned to design a series of graffiti-inspired T-shirt graphics featuring a custom illustrated character of Lil Indz, combined with street-dance culture elements such as music notes, speakers, trainers, and caps. Several design variations were explored, playing with different backgrounds and compositions.
The result was a fun, energetic piece of merchandise that reflected Lil Indz’s personality, confidence, and connection to street dance culture.
